Is there a film you want that's not available on physical media? Wanna add a cool slipcover to go with it! Look no further!
We will create one fully-authored Blu-ray, 4K UHD, or 4K/Blu-ray combo with a custom full-color slipcover... just for you!
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
-1 fully-authored disc with simple main menus (still background with text buttons), pop-up menu (Blu-ray only), and full-color disc label (2 discs for 4K/BD Combos), housed in a 12mm Amaray case with full-color cover art.
-1 customized full-color slipcover, printed on heavyweight matte stock and cut/scored/glued by hand
-1 clear plastic protective sleeve (this will protect your movie during shipment and also protect your case and slipcover from scratches, dust, and shelf wear)
Q: WILL MY DISC (OR DISCS) BE REGION-LOCKED?
A: No. Region locks are only supported for replicated BD-ROM discs. Because all our discs are duplicated onto BD-R discs, all our discs are naturally region-free, meaning you can watch them on any 4K/Blu-ray player worldwide!
Q: WILL THESE DISCS WORK ON GAME CONSOLES?
A: My standard Blu-ray discs will play on most Blu-ray-compatible game consoles including PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox One (original and X models), and Xbox Series X. However, my 4K discs may not work with PS5 consoles due to limited hardware support (blame Sony). They are confirmed to work on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. I understand some people use game consoles to play their movie discs (and there's NOTHING wrong with that), however I strongly recommend viewing my discs with a dedicated 4K/Blu-ray player as they are built specifically for Blu-ray and 4K playback. I test all my discs on my region-free Sony UBP-X700 UHD Blu-ray player and I've never had any issues playing them with that.
Q: WILL YOU UPSCALE A NON-4K MOVIE TO 4K UHD?
A: The answer was, is, and always will be NO. I do not offer upscales for any reason, nor do I use AI. PERIOD. If you want a specific film on 4K UHD, the film itself must already be available in 4K format (ex: the Ewoks films are only currently available in HD.)
Q: WILL MY 4K DISC HAVE HDR OR DOLBY VISION?
A: Some 4K movies feature HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR, some do not. In most cases, your 4K disc will feature HDR10. If the film is not available in HDR or DV, it will feature SDR only. To keep my 4K discs universal, I do not offer 4K discs with Dolby Vision.
Q: WHAT AUDIO FORMATS ARE SUPPORTED?
A: At this time, I am able to add lossless PCM (WAV), Dolby Digital AC-3, standard DTS, and DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. We are currently not able to add Dolby Atmos tracks. Any Atmos tracks included in the source files will be automatically converted to DTS-HD MA.
Q: WILL MY DISC INCLUDE ANY BONUS FEATURES?
A: If you want any bonus features added to the disc, you must supply them after submitting your order. This can include a full DVD rip, YouTube links, or links to a file hosting site like Google, Mega, or GoFile. If the film was released with little to no promo material or extras, it will be a 'barebones' disc (movie only).
Q: WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN ONE COPY?
A: COOL! Additional copies are available for an additional fee. Just click the "How Many Copies?" drop-down list and select how many copies you want. The more copies you order, the more money you save on each copy. Limit 5 copies per order.
Q: IS THERE ANY CONTENT YOU WILL NOT AUTHOR?
A: No OOP discs. No sports. No anime. No fan-edits. NO ADULT FILMS. (If you want Debbie Does Dallas, go talk to the NFL. I WILL NOT TOUCH THAT FILM.)
Q: WHAT IF I WANT A TV SERIES ON BLU-RAY?
A: We have a separate listing for TV show requests. Go to the website and you'll find it there. :)
Q: WHAT IF I WANT A 3D BLU-RAY?
A: I am not offering this service for 3D Blu-ray at this time. Sorry folks.
Q: WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?
A: 7-14 business days depending on my workload.
Request Rules:
-ALL REQUESTS must be available in either 1080p HD or 4K UHD. We do NOT do upscales.
-All bonus features you want added must be supplied when submitting your order. Once a disc is finished, we cannot add more material to it.
-You must supply ALL ARTWORK for the custom slipcover. We do not offer commissioned artwork.
-Limit 1 film per order.
1. What are MOD (Manufactured-On-Demand) DVDs and Blu-rays?
DVDs and Blu-rays are manufactured via one of two methods – laser burning, or stamping. Both methods create an image that a DVD or Blu-ray player can read.
MOD DVDs and Blu-rays use the laser burning method which is more efficient for lower volumes. MOD has made it possible for companies to bring out rare films that may not have the customer demand to justify large volume stamping runs.
2. Will MOD DVDs and Blu-rays perform like I expect?
Yes, your MOD DVD or Blu-ray will look and operate identical to a stamped disc. Unless you know what to look for, you’ll have a hard time telling the difference between an MOD disc and a stamped disc.
If for any reason your disc is defective, we will proudly send a replacement copy at no additional charge (International customers may be required to pay shipping/postage fees).
3. Will MOD DVDs and Blu-rays play on my video game console?
Most MOD DVDs will work on any DVD-compatible video game console with ease. However, the same cannot be said for MOD Blu-rays.
Our MOD Blu-rays have been confirmed to work with 100% functionality and playback on the following game consoles:
• Xbox One X
• Xbox Series X
Due to limited hardware support, our MOD Blu-rays are not compatible with PS3, PS4, or PS5 consoles.
It is strongly recommended to play MOD Blu-rays on a standard Blu-ray or 4K UHD player.
4. Are our MOD DVDs and Blu-rays "region-free"?
Yes. Our discs are region-free and compatible with all standard DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD players worldwide.
5. What are your turnaround times?
Our products are manufactured on demand. This means once your order is submitted, we will begin the manufacturing process. Turnaround times will vary depending on the amount of orders we handle. All orders are shipped out every Friday.
